lurch

lurch:

so brash when you bash brambles in the thick of it
flick of the wrist on the print
of what you’ve been picturing
strings, hammer dropped and pluck fingering
callouses lingering
looming forward since the backs heavy
sank to the knee in mucks mercy
only volition from the foundry of the fury
unbeknownst to me why wicked and hurt
in the lurch.
